    Question from a learner. With this gate system, do the pallets need to be restrained (webbing straps) for downward friction force in addition to the gates, so they don't move around inside the truck? Or is it assumed blocking (or other pallets blocking) will do the job? I'm only asking as at 0:42 there is lots of space between the pallets.

      Hi Geoff, our load restraint gates are designed to meet sideways load restraint on a fully palletised load. In most States, there is no need for upward restraint if the load is suitably restrained in the fore/aft and sideways directions - as is the case with a full load of uniformly palletised freight with load restraint gates, or with tippers, for example. It is recommended to check the load restraint guidelines for which the state you are travelling in.
